Free drop in fiber arts group starts Sunday, March 4th

Starting in March a monthly fiber arts craft group is starting at CAYA! It will be held from 2-4pm the first Sunday of every month. The group will be run by Sarah Lancaster, and is a drop in community group where people who identify as women and marginalized genders can bring whatever fiber art craft project they currently have and work on them while make friends with others with similar interests. If you have questions about this please contact Sarah at

A few notes:

No food please! Drinks are fine and water is available. This is not a structured therapy group but is geared to socializing. Any craft using fiber is fine to bring. This is not a class and no materials will be provided. Sarah Lancaster can answer some questions about crochet and cross stitch but is not an expert. If other participants want to answer questions about their crafts that is left up to them. The group may choose to do a group craft or goal in the future, but has not done so yet.
